Yes! Although many customers love our standard itineraries, we enjoy making bespoke trips either by adapting one of our existing trips or planning a new one from scratch. Let us know as much information as you can and we’ll be delighted to plan a trip for you.

We normally ask for a 10% deposit for your trip, with the balance being paid in instalments. If the trip is imminent we may require a higher deposit or full payment. Sometimes we will have promotions running which allow for lower deposits.

Unless otherwise stated, you will get a package holiday comprising of all flights, hotels and car hire. You will usually also get airport lounge passes for your outbound journey, with our compliments and of course our road trip pack which includes all your flight, hotel and car hire vouchers, a detailed itinerary and  guide book. You’ll also be supplied with a USA contact number and email address should you need any assistance while you’re away. We also offer, subject to availability the option to borrow a USA mobile phone with satnav software to help you on your travels.

Generally, our price will only include flights, hotels and car rental (including one-way fees) and anything else that has been specifically itemised in your quote. Below are some of the items which are generally not included.

International Flights: Seat upgrades, early seat allocation, luggage over the airline allowance.
Domestic Flights: Hold luggage is usually not included in the price and is payable on check-in.
Car Hire: Fuel, additional drivers, extras requested at the rental desk and any damage/excess are not included.
Hotels: Sometimes a small local/tourist tax will be payable on check-in. Some hotels will also charge a "resort fee” on check-in
Food: Other than breakfast, which is sometimes included in the hotel rate, meals are not included in the cost.
Activities, park entrance fees and any additional items are not included unless we have specifically booked and itemised this for you.

Of course! Our address, opening hours and a local map are in the Contact Us page. We would be delighted to discuss your holiday ideas with you and even look at maps and pictures with you. We do ask that you call or email in advance to make an appointment.

As with hotels and cars, we obtain the best deals we can to provide a competitive package for you. We often use British Airways, American Airlines and Virgin Atlantic depending on routes. If you have a preference for a particular airline, please let us know. We use airports throughout the UK, although in many cases there will not be direct flights.

Of course. Please let us know which class you prefer and we will quote accordingly. Once the flight is booked, it is not always possible for us to upgrade you and may ask you to speak to the relevant airline to discuss.

As standard most our our international flights have the usual allowance of one carry-on bag, one additional personal item and one 23kg case, all subject to the airline size restrictions. Some airfares may not include luggage or meals (and we will advise you of this before booking). If you have a domestic US flight, these usually do not include a luggage allowance and this is purchased separately at time of check-in.

This is normally available during online check-in through the ticketing airline’s website. Online check-in usually opens 24 hours before your flight. It is usually possible to select a seat before this at an additional cost.

Please let us know if you have any specific medical or dietary needs as we will pass this information on to the airline.

Your passport should be valid for the full duration of your stay. You don’t need any additional period of validity on your passport beyond this. All children must have their own passports.

The Visa Waiver Programme allows most British Citizen passport holders to visit the USA on holiday for up to 90 days and is valid for two years. This is known as an Electronic System for Travel Authorisation (or ESTA) and should be completed at least 72 hours before travel. You will usually get a response within seconds, although it can take longer. There is no need to use a third party to do this, you can complete the form yourself for your entire party. There is a nominal charge for this. For more information, and to apply online, visit the official ESTA website:

Car Hire

Normally, unless otherwise requested we will quote for a mid-size car, which is a small family car, insured for one driver with unlimited mileage. It is sometimes possible for rentals to include zero excess and/or additional drivers for an additional cost.

Generally, if you collect a car in one state and drop off in another there will be additional fees payable to the car rental firm to cover the cost of relocating the car afterwards. We will always include this additional cost in any quoted price.

This varies between companies and states. Please let us know how many drivers you’d like for the vehicle and we will obtain a quote for you.

Of course! We can quote for most types of vehicle and there is a drop-down menu on our booking enquiry form. We cannot guarantee a specific model, but we can select vehicle types. Click here for more information

For reasons of comfort, cost and reliability we only rent out low mileage, late model vehicles. If you select a convertible, you will usually have the option of a Mustang when you arrive at the rental desk. Please be aware, however that not all rental centres have convertibles.

There is no category for “muscle cars”. The best we can do is to book a “luxury” car for you, and you can request a muscle car on arrival. However there is no guarantee that they can provide your desired model.

Most car rental companies will allow drivers between 21-25 and 70 or over to rent vehicles, although there is sometimes an additional charge for this. Please let us know if the driver is in these age ranges and we will obtain a quote.

Our car rentals come with the basic insurance that you are required to have. Sometimes the rental will include zero excess and often the rental desk will offer you additional insurance upgrades or breakdown cover. However it is usually cheaper to take out a standalone policy here in the UK for this additional cover. We do not sell such policies, but can point you in the right direction.
