You will begin your trip at Boston, famous for the Boston Tea Party and of course Harvard is in nearby Cambridge. An easy city to navigate and plenty of New England history, some of which involves tax feuds with England! After enjoying some time in Boston you will head south through Rhode Island and Connecticut to New York City for your last few nights.
Remember - All our holidays can be shortened or extra nights added or modified with upgraded hotels, car etc. We love building tailor made road trip holidays!

You’ve got a 70 mile drive down to Rhode Island, the smallest US state. Take your time enjoying the drive, it’s an enjoyable journey. Your hotel will be near Newport, on one of the islands making up the state. Wander around the nearby state capitol, Providence or perhaps Bannister’s Wharf just off America’s Cup Avenue.
On this optional day, you will drive west, into Connecticut. Its a fairly short drive into the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe Reservation in Ledyard. As you drive through the dense woodlands you will suddenly be presented with a huge Las Vegas style resort which seems extremely out of place!
Enjoy the outlet shopping centre in Foxwoods before the final leg of your trip into NYC. You’ll probably want to drop the car off at the airport and take a taxi or train into Manhattan. If you’d prefer to keep hold of the car, we can book you a great hotel in Queens, just a couple of stops on the subway from Grand Central
Enjoy your final morning in New York City. Take a trip up the Empire State Building, eat lunch in Central Park and shop down 5th Avenue. Of course we can extend your trip to include extra days in New York City if you wish. This evening you’ll catch your overnight flight back to the UK.
Philadelphia is a great city to add on to your trip. There is plenty to do here and, of course there are the steps made famous by Rocky in the film at the front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art
Atlantic City is known as the Las Vegas of the East Coast. Its not as big or glamourous and the weather certainly isn’t as hot, but it is a city full of casinos and restaurants if you fancy a night there. And there is the well known boardwalk too!
The Hamptons are the suburbs of New York for the rich and famous. You can take a drive up here enjoying the beaches, mansions and communities where the New York business elite have their weekend homes.
