For this holiday, we recommend purchasing an “America The Beautiful” annual pass, which covers entrance fees to many of the US National Parks. This can be purchased at The Grand Canyon visitor center. Please note that the pass is not accepted at sites on tribal land such as Monument Valley or Four Corners where entrance fee must be paid in cash.

If you have extra days available for your trip, we recommend adding an extra day to visit Monument Valley. It’s in Utah and absolutely breathtaking. You’ll see the famous view used for countless western films. Make sure you arrive in plenty of time for the sunset, it’s astonishing!
Just a couple of hours west of Las Vegas lies Death Valley, National Park - one of the hottest places on earth. We recommend spending a full day here, perhaps with an overnight stay at the wonderful The Oasis Resort
Add an extra day or two in Denver and you can visit some of the amazing areas nearby such as the Rocky Mountain National Park, with Trail Ridge Road and Old Fall River Road, drives that pass aspen trees and rivers and Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the historic concert venue which is an open air amphitheatre built into the rock structure.
